Please note! Sapphire Dental Clinic is temporarily closed as of April 1, 2026. Thank you for your trust
Sapphire Dental Clinic’s terms and conditions of dental services and warranties. We value your trust and guarantee the quality of treatment.
1.1. For all dental procedures where this is possible due to the nature of the service, the Contractor shall provide a warranty certificate confirming the Patient’s right to have any defects identified corrected in accordance with the terms of this Contract.
1.1.1. In each specific case, a dentist from the Clinic’s team shall, at their discretion, select an effective method for correcting the defect.
⸻
1.2. Warranty periods are set as follows:
1.2.1. Dental fillings:
The warranty for light cured and chemically cured composite materials is 1 year.
The clinical assessment of the condition of a filling or restoration (hereinafter referred to as “filling”) is based on the following criteria: the filling should restore the anatomical shape of the tooth; on probing, it should fit tightly against the tooth’s hard tissue, the probe should not get caught, and no visible gaps should be present (assessment of marginal fit); there is no change in the color of the filling (except in smokers); there should be no secondary caries at the margins of the filling; and the integrity of the filling should not be compromised (e.g. loss or mobility).
Deviations from the above criteria qualify as a warranty case, and such defects will be corrected free of charge by the Contractor within the applicable warranty period.
1.2.2. Fixed prosthetic constructions:
Warranty: 1 year.
The following are repaired free of charge: falling out of inlays, decementation, insufficient fit.
In case of chipping of the veneer: free repair within 1 month; afterwards — with retained warranty — the Patient pays 30% of the cost.
1.2.3. Removable dentures:
Warranty: 1 year.
Provided that hygiene is maintained, the denture is worn consistently, and the patient seeks timely care in case of discomfort, the following defects are corrected free of charge: denture cracks, broken clasps, broken artificial teeth.
1.2.4. Implantation:
In the event of implant rejection within 12 months, free reimplantation is possible provided that the patient complies with the warranty requirements and there are favorable conditions for implant placement.
In the event of implant rejection after prosthetics at another clinic, the warranty is void, and reimplantation is subject to charge.
1.2.5. Pediatric services:
Crowns and fillings for baby teeth come with a 6-month warranty.
⸻
1.3. In cases where, due to the specifics of dental work (services), it is not possible to determine warranty periods, the doctor shall define and explain to the patient the expected success rate of treatment in each individual case. This applies to:
root canal treatment and retreatment;
professional dental hygiene/cleaning;
temporary fillings and plastic crowns;
certain types of orthodontic treatment;
surgical procedures (e.g. apicoectomy, tooth extraction, implantation, etc.);
treatment of gum inflammation and surrounding tooth tissues, including periodontitis;
teeth whitening;
treatment of teeth that the patient wishes to preserve but are otherwise indicated for extraction;
treatment of wisdom teeth;
placement of fillings in teeth that are actually indicated for prosthetic restoration.
1.3.1. Endodontic Retreatment. Within one year after endodontic treatment, if root canal retreatment is necessary, the Contractor shall provide a discount for treatment of the same tooth, namely:
50% discount on root canal retreatment;
filling placement — free of charge, provided the previous filling was placed at our clinic;
crown — 50% discount, if it was also placed at our clinic and the original Warranty Certificate is presented;
if tooth extraction is necessary— 50% discount on surgical intervention and up to 30% on prosthetics.
1.3.2. Deep Caries:
filling placement — free of charge;
root canal treatment — charged in full.
⸻
1.4. Conditions for the Validity of the Warranty.
To ensure the fulfillment of the Contractor’s warranty obligations, the Patient is required to:
Present the original Warranty Certificate.
Follow all instructions before, during, and after treatment.
Attend appointments on time for continued treatment.
Comply with the usage guidelines for the result of the Services, including orthodontic appliances, restored teeth, etc.
Maintain oral hygiene (Oral Hygiene Index OHI ≤ 2).
Undergo preventive check-ups as recommended by the Contractor’s medical staff, but at least once every 6 months.
Report any identified defects to the Contractor immediately, and no later than three days after their discovery.
Correct identified defects only at the Contractor’s Clinic.
Avoid trauma and mechanical damage.
⸻
1.5. In the event that the Patient fails to comply with any of the conditions set forth in clause 1.4 of this Contract, the Contractor’s warranty obligations shall terminate, and the Patient shall lose the right to make claims related to defects in the Services provided during the warranty period.
1.6. The warranty does not cover:
natural wear;
damage caused by negligence, improper use, or external factors.
⸻
1.7. The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
treatment of teeth with root canals previously treated in other clinics;
repairs of third-party prostheses;
treatment of children in case of their unsatisfactory behavior during treatment.
⸻
1.8. Changes to the warranty period are possible in the following cases:
missed appointments;
poor oral hygiene (OHI > 2);
incomplete treatment or presence of old fillings;
provision of false information;
an individual clinical decision made by the dentist (must be documented in writing). Warranty periods may be set by the Contractor’s dentists individually for each type of dental service, of which the Contractor must notify the Patient and make a corresponding entry in the medical record and Warranty Certificate. Depending on the clinical situation, these periods may differ from the standard warranty periods accepted by the Contractor.
⸻
1.9. The warranty becomes void in the following cases:
independent interference with the dental structure;
loss of the orthopedic structure during its decementation;
concealment of medical information;
if the Patient didn’t follow hygiene rules, recommendations, failed to attend an appointment, etc.;
impact of trauma, systemic diseases, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy;
intervention by other medical institutions without the consent of our clinic.
⸻
1.10. In case of complications, the Patient is obliged to:
contact the clinic no later than three days after the onset of the issue, without turning to other medical facilities;
In emergency situations, where it is not possible to visit our clinic, the Patient has the right to seek help elsewhere, but must inform the Contractor within three days. If the Patient wishes to retain the warranty obligations for dental services previously provided by the Contractor, they must provide an extract from their medical record, X-ray images, examination and treatment results from another institution confirming the need for urgent intervention (e.g., acute toothache, etc.), as well as evidence of the impossibility of visiting our clinic (e.g., information about the actual location, transport or electronic ticket, etc.).
In the event of a warranty case, the defective item must be returned to the Contractor;
any expenses incurred at third-party institutions will not be reimbursed; the clinic will provide a repeat service under warranty.
When treating a patient and his first-degree relative, the patient has the right to receive a family discount.
